Take the short walk to Turf Moor to enjoy the match,visit Towneley Park, enjoy the surrounding countryside with a walk or cycle or after a days work enjoy a bite to eat and a drink at the local Thornton Arms pub. Lower Hawkstones Farm

Lower Hawkstones Farm is a 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion set high on the Pennines. It’s wild and windy and we can get snow in the winter. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular walks through woodland into the valley, or open moorland to the rear of the property. We have no public transport as the nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away so own transport is recommended. There are lots of interesting places to eat within 15 mins by car

Located in the centre of Whalley, this end terraced cottage is close to a selection of restaurants and bars, as well as being in close proximity to main of the beautiful wedding venues situated throughout the Ribble Valley and Lancashire. Only 4 miles from the centre of Clitheroe and 3 miles from Great Harwood showground, the cottage is ideally located with access to both the M65 and M6 motorways.
