It has open field views and is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, pubs, restaurants, famous attractions, and is only 20 minutes from the Peak District National Park. The Hideaway is the perfect location for a romantic break with your small dog (additional charge). Outside is a private, decked area with chairs, table, luxury outdoor slipper bath and fire pit - a perfect place to relax, unwind, and cosy up under the stars.

The Cartshed is family owned & restored from a 150 year old derelict farm building into a cosy cottage. With off road access to the Trans Pennine Trail upto the Peak District it’s the perfect base for getting away from it all and immersing yourself in the great outdoors. Tucked away down a country lane, Comfortable and welcoming, Winking Owl Cottage is a really pretty place, perfect for rambling, birdwatching, and simply enjoying the breathtaking Yorkshire countryside and the unbeatable local hospitality. You can see deer in the forest, bullfinch, kingfishers, nuthatches, and herons, and you can hear the owls nocturnal twit wooing. Close to a waterfall on the river Dearne, this truly is a magical place.

The Tack Store, 6p barn conversion + hot tub

The Tack Store is a new barn conversion on our small farm outside the village of Silkstone. Views are some of the best in South Yorkshire, overlooking rolling hills and woodland, it's a perfect escape for those who love peace, quiet & walking. Equally we are only 1.5m from the M1 for guests wanting a more varied experience. We are child and pet friendly. We have tried really hard to create a relaxing home away from home. A hot tub will be installed for bookings April 25 onwards.
