Our 1959-vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. At a pinch, two children could sleep in the king single bed; see the photos and description further down. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum one-night stay for a quick getaway, or stay longer & enjoy the peace, sit by the fire - made from a beer keg, and roast marshmallows.

Dandaloo Luxury Escape short drive to Yarra Valley

Dandaloo Luxury Escape is a self-contained 2-bedroom house set in the grounds of Dandaloo homestead, circa 1890s. It has been tastefully renovated and built to take in the ambiance of surrounding gardens and natural bush. Nestled at the base of Mount Dandenong, this peaceful bungalow is the perfect place to stay whilst exploring the Dandenong Ranges or Yarra Valley. Walking distance (15mins) from Boronia or Ferntree gully and less than an hour drive from the CBD, this stay is close to all necessities while enjoying the tranquillity of the one acre garden with firepits or BBQ facilities to use. Pet and family friendly, the bungalow is a great place for two nights or many.

A forest hideaway in the Dandenong Ranges. Nestled between ferns and maples, Dingleigh of Sassafras is one of the original cottages on the property, lovingly restored and updated. Walking proximity to Sassafras, local shops, famous gardens & the national park. Dingleigh and its gardens offer an ideal location for wedding preparations and small wedding ceremonies.
