Outdoor Basecamp at Tiny Hidden Ridge

Our basecamp apartment is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast looking for an escape to the countryside. We are 1/2mile from the C&O Towpath and Potomac river and less than 2 miles from Harpers Ferry and the Appalachian Trail. Our location makes this perfect for couples, families or groups looking to hike, bike, or raft. Make use of our deck, grill, fire pit, and bike tools. We recently got internet. But no TV, and weak cell signal. The kitchenette has a hotplate, toaster oven, and coffee maker.

Mountain Church Cottage

Mountain Church Cottage offers a great stay in the hills of Middletown, Maryland. Activities nearby include access to the Appalachian Trail. The roads are a perfect challenge for the serious cyclist and runner, but it’s just a 15 minute drive to the flat terrain of the C&O Canal bike path. For kayakers, Potomac River access is in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. It's just a short drive to Antietam National Battlefield. And for those who enjoy a glass, there are a number of wineries in the region.

This stylish apt with fenced yard is located just mins to the HFNP Park. 24/7 convenient store just 1 block away; library across the street; a corner lot in a very quiet neighborhood. Perfect place to start your hikes or just to rest for the weekend. The home has 1 BR, kitchen, full bath and coffee bar - Keurig; coffee pot; coffee press; pour over coffee; beans and grinder; teas bags w/ water pot and private parking for our guests. Please note that the living area for this home is upstairs.

Our luxury design is unmatched in the area. And our location is at the best end of Washington St. 0.25 miles away. No train noise all night like near the town. Restored 1820 Waterford Village Farm

We restored this 1820 village farmhouse in 2016. It is situated in the heart of the historic village of Waterford. It has 2 1/2 acres behind, with two barns, a herd of very friendly goats, chickens, and vegetable, herb and flower gardens. The house backs up to The Phillips Farm, 150 acres of preserved land and public walking trails. Beautiful sunset views from the back porch. The house, a work in progress, was featured in both Country Living and Preservation Magazines.

Gayte House Gay Owned, Liberal Oasis

Cozy and charming 1840's home in the heart of town. Steps from the National Park, feet from the Appalachian Trail. Relax by the fire, on the porch or on the river. We have something for every season and every age. Steve and I have lived here In HF 20 yrs., 13 of those at the Gaytehouse. We live right next door now and Love both our homes. Eclectic & Romantic - Walk to Historic Downtown!

Eclectic space full of little treasures I’ve picked up during my travels. You will find the place cozy enough for a reset and recharge weekend but also inspiring for gatherings and celebrations. Take advantage of the books, games and excellent SONOS system in the house as well as outside on the patio. This place is great for music lovers and people who enjoy a change from the ordinary.
