Historic Morgue and Paranormal Investigation!

Welcome to the Historic Morgue! An eerie ambience greets you upon arrival..the history runs deep for this building. This antique, nationally recognized, historic building offers antique decor with a modern twist! Morgue decor throughout, rightly so..paying homage to its dark history. This is a loft setting offering a king bed, full size bed, twin and an antique settee(possibly suited for a small child). A large kitchen with small breakfast seating as well as a large table! And that bathroom!

Location! Location! Location! Our completely private, remodeled duplex is located just south of Hwy 60 in Springfield, MO. We are only a couple minutes from the closest grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. The Battlefield Mall, Bass Pro Wonders of Wildlife, Cox and Mercy hospitals are all under 10 minutes away, and Downtown Springfield is a short 15 minute drive. If our East unit is a bit too small for your group, you can combine your booking with our West unit if available!

Pickerel Creek Cottage Country Setting on 20 Acres

Experience Ozark country life firsthand. Explore wooded trails with 22 species of trees, look for deer, wild turkey, blue heron, raccoons, and colorful songbirds. Stroll by tranquil ponds with fish, turtles and frogs. Gather around the fire pit beneath a canopy of stars. Fall asleep to the gentle echo of a distant train whistle. Pickerel Creek Cottage offers a charming, cozy, and immaculate retreat on twenty picturesque acres in the Ozarks. Come experience this unique natural sanctuary.

Cottage at Old Wire

Early check-in and late check-out are offered for a fee. The fee for an early check-in is $15. The fee for a late check-out is $15. For both the total is $30. A private cottage situated on 22 acres. Perfect retreat for a getaway, bedroom has a jacuzzi tub and king bed. High-speed internet at over 100mbps! This is a farm setting with animals and a beautiful view of the Ozarks. The acreage adjoins Old Wire Conservation Area, an 800 acre Missouri Conservation area with hiking trails.

The Cottage at Namaste Farms

We recently built our 900 sq. ft 1 bedroom, 1 ½ bath cottage for up to a two (2) guest to stay. This secluded & cozy home is located on our 3 acre property & backs up to a serene view of the woods. We usually have deer that visit, and two 6-year old donkey’s named Fizz & Rizzo who live on our property. If you want to meet them, just let us know! We are happy to share our little Namaste cottage with our guests, and hope you enjoy your stay, as much as we love living here.

The River Birch Treehouse at Affinity on the River

The Riverbirch Treehouse is arguably the most unique stay in the Springfield area! The cabin is set 25ft up in the trees overlooking the James River below, conveniently located off S. Campbell between Springfield and Nixa. Super convenient location yet steps away from wilderness. Cabin offers a King suite with a kitchenette, unique "outdoor" shower, custom built and very unique, accessible via a slightly steep boardwalk...a short "climb" to your treehouse in the woods!

Forest Garden Yurts

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.

WestBrick Luxury Loft

A gem in the heart of downtown Springfield. Designed by award winning architect Matthew Hufft. Conveniently located on McDaniel Street directly across from the parking garage, this rental is walking distance from all that downtown Springfield has to offer. Superior finishes include: granite counters, exposed brick walls, exposed beam ceiling, stainless steel commercial grade appliances with 6 burner gas range and wine fridge, marble mosaic floors and glass shower.

This basement rental with a private entrance is located in a quiet area in reach of Springfield, Branson and surrounding areas. The kitchenette area decorated in a Coca-Cola theme provides a bit of nostalgia, adding to the cozy feel of the space. We desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible, providing local insights while also working hard to honor your privacy. A laundry room is a shared area, but we work hard to limit use while guests are here.
