Romantic Somerset hideaway

Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Shared driveway next to main house. Not suitable for children or pets.

The Little Barn, Devon. A Tranquil Escape

The Little Barn is a private studio surrounded by Devon countryside. Situated 1 mile from the village of High Bickington along a quiet country lane, it is ideal for walking, cycling and beach holidays. With only the birds to wake you, The Little Barn is a tranquil escape to enjoy. It is located between Dartmoor and Exmoor and a 30 minute drive to the beautiful Devon beaches of Saunton Sands, Westward Ho!, Woolacombe and Croyde Bay. There are miles of Tarka Trail to walk and cycle along.

Exmoor View - Secluded luxury, stunning views

The Secret Hut is a very luxurious Shepheard's, hut, part of the 'Wootton Manor Devon' collection of bespoke holiday lodges in the middle of the countryside. The Secret hut is situated in its own fully enclosed large garden. It’s totally private and enjoys amazing views as far as Exmoor. The hut has a gas bbq, fire pit, outside dining area, hot tub and inside under floor heating, log stove, fully equipped kitchen and luxury shower room. Watch the animals on the other side of the fence!

It is well situated to explore North Devon with its amazing beaches, beautiful countryside and quaint villages. It is less than a 5 minute stroll from the 16th century Rising Sun inn. It is also within easy walking distance of the rail station , a request stop on the Barnstaple - Exeter line. Secure bike storage available

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Lovely period features carefully restored. Rural quiet equestrian countryside with around 45 minute drive to some lovely beaches. A thatched Semi detached part of a Devon Longhouse around 400 years old. This little quaint cottage/annex has lots of period features. The cottage is situated in a quiet area with around 45 minute drive to the sea and some beautiful North Devon beaches. A quiet simple countryside retreat. NB: No takeaways available

The Shippon. Unique luxurious South Devon getaway.

A calm, deeply luxurious space to recharge & reconnect. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

Garden room nestled alongside the River Torridge

The beautiful rural village of Weare Giffard meanders along the banks of the river Torridge. The accommodation can be found nestled in the garden of the old village school with lovely views of the river and woods beyond. The compact accommodation is designed to make the most of the surrounding scenery. The Garden Room is but a stones throw from the Tarka Trail which provides over 70 miles of traffic-free cycling or walking. The North Devon coast and it’s beaches are a short drive away.

The Beach Hut, Parade House. Our luxury 2 bedroom, self contained Duplex, has been recently built and is part of the prestigious Parade House development, in beautiful Woolacombe, Devon. Here you will find luxury self catering accommodation, with a large open plan living space with a private outside dining balcony. You can also enjoy your own enclosed terrace with hot tub and you'll have unrestricted views of Woolacombe Beach, which is just a 30 second walk from Parade House.

Escape to “Midge,” a secluded Nordic cabin for two in rural Devon. Set on a 10-acre estate with woods and meadows, this cozy hideaway features a wood-fired hot tub under the stars, a crackling wood-burning stove, and panoramic Exmoor countryside views. Reconnect with nature and each other – no TV, just sunsets, starlight, and birdsong.
