Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Well connected to the historic center of Varese: bus stop at 200mt. We have two dogs and a wolf: if you are afraid, please note that they run free around so it's impossible not to meet them.

The cosy apartment ‘Tina’s Yellow Home’ is conveniently located in Leggiuno near to the shore of Lake Maggiore and consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), a washing machine and a television. A baby bed is available upon request. The homeowner even provides deckchairs which you can bring to the lake.

You arrive by boat. No road, no car, no traffic — just a red cottage on the water in a village that time forgot, and the boat is yours for the whole stay (no licence needed). Two bedrooms, a fireplace, a covered terrace over the lake, and a garden of old trees with a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ. Kayak and paddleboard included. Free parking is located a few meters from the house.
