Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

This quaint cozy cabin offers a retreat from life's hustle and bustle with breathtaking views and a serene environment. The Black River Cozy Cabin is perfect for family vacations or a romantic get-away. With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

Enjoy a nostalgic getaway at grandfather's cabin on an oxbow bend of the Meramec River. Relax on the back porch, surrounded by woods and a view of river. Unplug and unwind! Privacy is paramount and birdsong prevails! Nearby canoe/kayak/raft rentals for trips down the river. Hike the adjoining Vilander Bluff Natural Area. Take a tour Onondaga Cave State park 6 miles upstream. And don't miss the wineries, mills, springs, antiques, historic and Route 66 are all in the area.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. "The Tiegen" is a beautiful A-frame cabin sitting on 20 acres at the top of Anderson Mountain. Or picture lighting an evening fire to enjoy the sounds of the woods with your favorite drink. This cabin will not disappoint and boasts full amenities to go along with your glamping adventure.

Sassafras Creek Cabin

Historic log cabin circa 1840 moved to property June 2020. Take a step back in time with furniture and decor to match the cabin’s time period. Located between two houses in newly formed Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park. It is a 10 minute walk to the main part of downtown and other historic tour sites. Adjoins Early American gift shop called Sassafras Creek Originals which is housed in the circa 1850 Brooks house. Close to wineries, biking and hiking.

On The Rocks Primitive Cabin (3)@Spring Lake Ranch

This primitive cabin is a great way to connect with nature, while still being able to retreat indoors at night. Unique space - the loft has a skylight; primitive - has electricity but no running water. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edg Clif Wineries which is next door to us. The newly remodeled shower house has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance.

Come and have some fun at our semi- private cabin that sits on a stocked pond. We are dog friendly only. This property has 2 additional cabins and 2 houses available if needed.
