Darley Abbey Mills Cottage

This 1840 Mill Cottage is ideally located for strolling to Darley Abbey Mills, now an exclusive wedding venue with its Michelin listed restaurant, wine bars and Spanish tapas. Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. With courtyard, Wifi, Smart TVs, kitchen, lounge, one double and one queen sized bedroom, sofa bed and a delightful Jack ‘n’ Jill bathroom, this is a rare find near the old Mills. Note: Stairs can be steep for the infirm.

Relax in this cosy country retreat in the beautiful village of Holbrook. Stone Trough Cottage is approx 150 years old with thick stone walls and original oak beams. The Garden apartment in historic Milford offers a cosy, self-contained retreat in a Grade II stone cottage, built c.1795, with a private garden and scenic views of the World Heritage mill village. The old mill is currently being developed. The area is easily explored with walks, pubs & restaurants from your doorstep. A bus route provides easy access to the Peak District National Park, Derby city and attractions eg: Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Kedleston, Art & Museums. We’d love to welcome you :-)

Bridle Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set next to Hartshay Brook and along a beautiful Bridle lane, amidst rolling countryside with stunning walks straight from the door. Lower Hartshay is a hidden gem, a tiny rural village in Derbyshire. The cottage is along a former tow path behind a picket fence. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

Hazel Lodge is new to Sam’s Derbyshire cottage. This beautiful lodge is set on a working farm between south wingfield and crich. The lodge has 2 bedrooms 1 double and twin rooms, the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. The open plan living kitchen and dinning area is great for entertaining with a 40” smart tv. The hot tub is very private with looks down the valley great for star gazing! There is a big decking area with table and chairs for long nights sat outside.
