Quaint and Cosy Cottage

This quaint and cosy cottage is located in the heart of Alton village on the edge of Dimmingsdale. Close to fantastic pubs, walks, cycling routes, JCB, and of course the famous Alton Towers. The Cottage consists of two bedrooms- the first offering a double bed, the second with a single suitable for a single adult or children. The cottage also offers a very small courtyard with a table and two chairs ideal for your early morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Travel Cot available Pet Friendly

Set within the heart of a Derbyshire Dales village but less than 3 miles away from the town of Uttoxeter with it's Racecourse, bars, eateries and shops We are close to the A50 and A38 providing easy links to major motorways.

Pigs N Blankets

Pigs n Blankets is an old 4 berth caravan situated in a corner of our yard. Fixed double bed and 2 small sofas (would sleep small kids) Fridge, Kettle, Toaster & Microwave. Toilet and Sink and 24hr use of a guest shower room. Please bring your own sleeping bags, towels and torch. We do provide pillows and blankets. We are a 4 minute drive to Alton Towers and close to The Peak District. We have lots of outdoor seating areas, feel free to enjoy. We are semi rural so transport is a advisable

There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food & drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. We live within a small estate that is surrounded by the beautiful country side that is also a part of a quaint little town of Cheadle and surrounded by other small towns consisting of boutique shops. You will be pleased to hear that we are surrounded by lots of local attractions such as, Alton towers, Churnet valley railway, Trentham gardens and lots more.

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.
