Mariposa Monarch Cabin Hye, Blanco, Stonewall

The Monarch Cabin at the Mariposa is new construction in the Texas Hill Country, just off the 290 Wine Trail. Two cabins, on over 80 acres, are available for rent together or separately. The Swallowtail Cabin is available on a different listing. Butterfly gardens surround the cabins, and wildlife abounds. Over 65 wineries are less than 15 minutes from the Mariposa. An easy drive to Fredericksburg, Blanco, Johnson City, Stonewall, Hye, Albert and Luckenbach. No cleaning fee or check out duties.

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Once a hunting shack, it’s now a reimagined tiny home for couples to unplug and reconnect. With a comfy California King bed, dual shower heads, and a large deck overlooking a hay farm, it’s perfect for relaxation. The artsy kitchenette and outdoor grill make it easy to prepare a romantic meal, while its location offers easy access to Hill Country attractions.

7th Street Guesthouse

Our place is close to family-friendly activities, Old Blanco County Courthouse, antiquing, Blanco State Park and River. Centrally located in the Hill Country (Fredericksburg, Wimberley, Marble Falls and more). Lots of dining choices. The 7th Street Guesthouse is a historic jewel in Blanco County. Known by locals as "The Old Speer Home", this charming home is located within walking distance of historic downtown Blanco. Our place is ideal for couples and solo adventurers.

Book a night or two and enjoy some peace. (The covered outside staircase takes you from the downstairs kitchen/bathroom to the 2nd floor bedroom.)
