I LOVE THIS HOME & LOCATION ❣️ It’s 2-3 blocks from everything (from fishing to tubing to hiking to dancing or people watching) with the exception of the Mountain (main snow ski area) which is accessible by driving (3.2 miles), biking (ya’ people do that in the winter 😳) or the Free Bus system that runs every 20 min. If you want an economical snow ski area, there’s Howelson Hill (original ski lift in CO) which is a 20 min walk away with equipment rentals along the way 🎿 PS: Pets welcome❣️
This is a simple cabin-home is located 7 miles up from the Colorado river on Sweetwater Creek. Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.
