Light, spacious modern home in lovely Wirksworth

The bungalow is my home available whilst I'm away from base and has all my belongings in place and may not be suitable for children. Large double with ensuite, second double with separate bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Pets by arrangement. Parking on driveway. Wirksworth, busy market town in Peak District. Craft beer pubs, restaurants, coffee shops plus amazing 52 seater cinema. Carsington Reservoir, High Peak and Tissington trails are on doorstep. Chatsworth and Haddon Hall- short drive away.

Situated in the heart of Matlock Bath (accessible by train), this unique cosy but spacious cottage has a wealth of original features and a secure walled garden, with a sunny deck and courtyard. Acacia Cottage has wonderful views and is a great location (walks, peak district, cycle track). It is also very well appointed and equipped. Originally three miners cottages, Acacia Cottage boasts three good-sized double bedrooms (one en-suite) and one study/bedroom with a sofabed, plus modern kitchen with gas range, large dining room, sitting room, study and large sunroom. Under-floor heating and wood burner make this delightful snug in winter. Good wi-fi and flat screen tv/DVD.

Peak District Country Farmhouse

Beautiful country farmhouse situated down a 250m private drive on the outskirts of the village of Tansley. On the hillside below Riber Castle the property is surrounded by horse pastures and farmland. There are stunning views from every window. The house has been completely renovated with the input of an interior architect to an extremely high standard. Many of the original Victorian features have been retained and stylishly combined with a super modern kitchen and bathrooms.
