Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

It is suitable for couples & families alike, ideal for both relaxing or a more energetic break, for example walking the Cleveland Way.

This newly refurbished Victorian town house is only a 5 min stroll to the harbour cafes bars & restaurants. Can sleep 8, Room 1 King size bed, Room 2 double bed , Room 3 two single beds and Room 4 has a double sofa bed (ground floor), this room doubles up as a second living room when the sofa bed is not required. 2 bathrooms, one on ground floor The newly fitted kitchen and dining room are on the lower ground floor. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
