A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. If track is wet , we offer transportation down to the location.

Just a few minutes off SH2 the property is an easy 10min drive to Omokoroa Harbour where you can fish off the jetty, kayak, swim safely or maybe enjoy eating out at the cafes and restaurants. It's a 15 -20min drive to the beautiful Mt Maunganui surf beach or downtown Tauranga CBD.

Stones Throw is a guest studio suite for two located in a hidden valley central to the greater Tauranga / Mount Maunganui / Papamoa area. Tucked behind the main dwelling, it sits stream side overlooking a swimming hole and backs onto a producing kiwifruit orchard, offering occupant privacy. Shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all within a short drive.
