The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Totally Isolated Pennine Cabin

A cosy, rustic hut in a field with 2 comfy kingsize beds (sheets & duvet not provided), en suite shower & loo, set in a secluded spot on a small, quiet 36 acre farm with fishing lake & boat in a remote, beautiful, little visited, yet very accessible area of the Pennines with expansive views of the stunning Thursden Valley. An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway. Sorry no dogs. No loud music.

It is tucked away high above the river, reached directly by a path and has a lovely view from its own garden to the sheltered woodland beyond. The private hot-tub is available for an additional cost. Exclusive use of the owners off-site private spa - indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna & outside Swimspa is also available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

Uppergate Farmhouse Apartment

The one-bedroom apartment is located in a self-contained wing of a listed farmhouse. Oak beams, flag floors, with every modern convenience. The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.

Teal cottage is all on the ground floor with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private hot tub* and exclusive use of the owners private pool* available. There is ample private parking. Tucked away up a long private drive, this isolated cottage has stunning views from every room and from the patios and hot-tub.
