The Stray Chalet boasts a relaxing, clean and open space with no steps. It is a peaceful home in a quiet neighborhood . Relax in comfort with everything you need in a home away from home. We try our best to be allergen free! The home is located 1 block from the quaint downtown and just steps away from Wabash Park and the Wabash Cannonball trailhead. West Unity is right along the Ohio Turnpike between exit 13 and 25. There are many adventures awaiting locally and even more within an hour's drive.

The house has 3 bedrooms plus a pull-out couch. The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled and keeps the county feel.

Come enjoy the peaceful countryside just 10 minutes off the tollroad in northwest Ohio. We have a separate one bedroom apartment on our fifth generation farm. My grandparents added this space onto the barn in 1968 so they had a place to stay when visiting. Now that they have passed, we have this space to share with others who are visiting or passing through the area . The space is perfect for one or two people.

You will have all the comforts of home in this remodeled, comfortable, and charming old house. The downstairs apartment is the air bnb, and the owners live upstairs. Sorry, but you'll have to leave your pets at home.

The Rupp House

Make your Hillsdale County home base in one of the earliest houses in Jonesville, conveniently located 10 minutes from Hillsdale College. The house is a solid preserved house which invites you to kick off your shoes and relax. It has a full kitchen, a large dining table and beds for 6 persons. There is one bathroom which has a shower and plenty of hot water. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer.
