Located on 2.5 acs. on the South Fork of Reems Creek near Weaverville, N.C., this 100 year old 2 room school house has been converted to a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin. 12 foot ceilings, huge windows & original beadboard interior. Located 20 mins. from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate and 2.5 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway & the Mountains to the Sea Trail. Enjoy the wooded trails along the 2 streams on the property. Sit on the tin-roofed front porch and listen to the rain and the streams .

Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.
