Welcome to our lakefront family vacation home, nestled on a peaceful and private stretch of Head Lake in Hastings, Michigan. Here you’ll enjoy a serene setting on a quiet lake, 7-person hot tub, and lakefront access with paddle boards and kayaks available to use. Conveniently located just one mile from Camp Michawana, 10 minutes from Hastings, and 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. This home is beautifully designed to be the backdrop of precious new memories w/ your loved ones! Pets welcome!

Benison Place: quiet & convenient for city/country

Just a few miles off the 131 highway and 30 minutes from Gerald R. Ford International Airport, our location offers tranquility and comfort a short drive from Grand Rapids, Holland (Lake Michigan), and Kalamazoo. This self-contained apartment has its own entrance next to a terraced garden. Enjoy country vistas and watch for deer, turkey, hawks, and songbirds. In season, shop “The Fridge” farm stand, stocked with eggs, scones, honey, and fresh produce. Order ahead: we’ll save scones for you!

All-sport Lake Cottage + Large Deck

All day enjoyment awaits at this conveniently located, tucked in the woods, 2 bed/1 bath cottage with large deck, on an all-sport lake. Enjoy quiet mornings as the sun rises across the lake. Enjoy sunny days playing in the water, soaking up the sun on the large deck, or explore the lake with a kayak. Enjoy the evening cool down with bonfires and s'mores. Property features lots of outdoor-living space for long days in the sun and on the water. Cottage accommodates up to 6 overnight guests.

Bird's Nest Cozy Farm Getaway

The Birds Nest is an above-the-garage studio apartment with a view of the valley and our working farm. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, our 36 acres provide a respite for the body and soul with trails and vistas, and engage the mind in sustainable agriculture with a discount on our Farm Tour & Tasting. Our water is from a well. It is tested regularly and is completely safe though it can have a sulfur smell at times. There is an RO filter/faucet in the kitchen for drinking water.

Russell Retreat with an amazing view of Gun Lake!

Bring the family, including your furry family, to this spacious house, steps from Gun Lake. Grill & relax on the upper deck with beautiful views of the lake. Gun Lake is an all sport lake that is roughly 2,680 acres. Russell Retreat is 20 mins from Hastings, 32 mins from Grand Rapids, and 33 mins from Kalamazoo. When you are not out on the water, take a hike at Yankee Springs, test your luck at the Casino, or taste local wines at Glass Creek Winery. All less than 15 minutes from your door.

Charming 2-bedroom cottage near Gun Lake Casino & Bay Pointe Inn and only a short drive from Grand Rapids. A cozy escape on all sports Gun Lake comes with a boat slip and trailer parking. Bedrooms have full beds, livingroom has a pull-out couch and a pull-out loveseat. The compact bathroom has a stand-up shower, kitchen is equipped with essentials and a Keurig. Private firepit, wifi access, 3 Smart TVs, room air conditioners, 2 reserved parking spots in front with additional guest parking.

The Suite is a cozy place to rest from your travels or stay while you visit family/friends. Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite, separate space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.
