* Extra sanitizing measures are in place during the COVID-19 Pandemic. * My place is cozy, clean, and quiet with all the comforts of home! It is located half way between the highway and downtown. You will have the entire upstairs to yourself during your stay, including a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with shower, and an open concept kitchen, dining area, living room, and work desk. You'll also have your own private entrance and free off street parking in the back of the house.

Secluded apartment at Summerwynd farmette

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Located just two blocks from the downtown Wausau restaurant and shopping district, this modern ground floor 2 Bedroom apartment is tucked in a unique and private location which offers easy access to enjoy downtown by foot, bike or car. The apartment is well suited for a busy work trip, busy vacation, or just to relax. January 2026 note- Great skiing stay or work stay with our solid winter weather and snowfall. Great improvement in 2025 in adjacent downtown area and pedestrian access.

My place is close to the city center, art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, and parks. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the location, the coziness, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The home is only 2 blocks from bars and restaurants and less than 5 blocks from Historic Downtown Wausau. We only live a mile away, so please contact us if you need anything during your stay!

Daniel’s Place

Cozy up in this private, one-bedroom, centrally located, upper apartment. (Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Lake Front Cabin-East

Located on the southeast side of Mayflower Lake, this getaway is 65' from the water with a 23' dock shared with up to one other guest, fire ring, and grill. The cabin, one of two, is a functional, newly remodeled approx 400 sq ft design with your vacation in mind! Swim, kayak, paddle-board (both free to use) & fish! Minutes from other fishing lakes, snow mobile trails, Ice Age Trail, Eau Claire Dells, golf courses, casinos, and Mountain Bay Trail. 30 min from Granite Peak.

Higgins' Homestead

Experience a quiet, relaxing stay at in a charming little home! Only 1 mile from downtown Wausau, WI. with easy access to restaurants, local YMCA, coffee shops and more! Renovated 3 bed, 1 bath with A/C and elegant maple hardwood floors. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry area, as well as a pleasant fire pit surrounded by strawberries! Queen sized beds in two bedrooms, and a futon in the third. We provide all that you need, to just show up and enjoy a relaxing stay!

Grass Creek Getaway: Private, romantic, cozy cabin

Words that past guests have used to describe their stay at Grass Creek Getaway and why I think they chose these words. PRIVATE: located a 1/4 mile off a country road. AMAZING CRAFTSMANSHIP: interior is tediously handcrafted from top to bottom. TRANQUIL: located in wooded area your amongst nature. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place for you.

Hilltop Hideaway is in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of the city. Your stay is only 3 miles to Granite Peak Ski Resort and Rib Mountain State Park, 1 mile to the downtown Wausau area, 1 mile to Aspirus Wausau Hospital. There are several places close for summer and winter activities.
