Cottage on Lake Windermere: Beach, Hot Tub & Sauna

Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Beyond the monumental mountains, you'll find the breathtaking Cumbrian Coast only 15 minutes away, with beaches and Seascale, St Bees and others winding north.

Cosy two bedroom holiday let set on a working Herdwick sheep farm situated in the picturesque Wasdale valley within the Lake District National Park. The cottage is set on the shores of Wastwater and so offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. It is the perfect starting point for numerous Wainwright walks. Scafell Pike, Yewbarrow and Illgill Head can all be started from the doorstep. Very easy access to the lake for paddleboarding, kayaking and wild swimming.

The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
