Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This is the perfect bayou getaway in the heart of Cajun Country. It overlooks Bayou Amy, which is adjacent to the Atchafalaya Basin. It’s also within minutes of genuine and authentic Cajun cuisine (Landry’s and Pat’s) and local fishing and boating spots (Atchafalaya Basin). Mobile home located in a quiet area just south of Washington, LA and just north of Opelousas city limits by 1 mile. Ideal accommodations for work crews working in area. One minute drive to I-49 if enjoying festivals or events in the area. The location is on a dead end street if you’re looking for a place to relax or get away from city living.
