We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Seara! The stone house is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the mountains and vineyards was truly a highlight-there’s nothing better than sipping your morning coffee while soaking in such serene scenery. The hosts were incredibly informative and attentive, providing helpful tips that made our trip even more enjoyable. The peaceful village setting, just about an hour from Porto, gave us the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend Villa Seara to anyone looking for a tranquil and picturesque getaway in Portugal. We can’t wait to come back!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison spacieuse, idéale pour notre groupe composé de deux familles. À notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé une maison propre et bien aménagée. La structure en pierre et la décoration d'antan ajoutent une touche rustique et originale qui rend l'ambiance unique et très chaleureuse. La piscine était un véritable atout ce qui nous a permis de passer de super moments de détente et de jeu. Le jardin, très bien entretenu, offrait une vue magnifique et dégagée, ajoutant un cadre paisible à notre séjour. Nous avons tous beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons vivement cet endroit pour une escapade relaxante.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Margarida war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ihre Empfehlungen waren sehr hilfreich und zutreffend! Die Unterkunft war makellos und selbst bei Rückfragen war Margarida stets erreichbar und hat innerhalb weniger Minuten geantwortet um unsere Fragen zu beantworten.

O espaço visitado é verdadeiramente acolhedor, oferecendo o estritamente necessário para uma estadia confortável e agradável. A simplicidade do local e das casas não compromete a qualidade da experiência, proporcionando um ambiente onde se sente em casa. Um dos pontos mais notáveis é o isolamento completo do local. Esta característica garante uma atmosfera de tranquilidade, ideal para quem busca um refúgio longe do barulho e da agitação da vida urbana. A paz e o silêncio são predominantes, excelente para passeios a pé, ler, fotografias, etc Além disso, tivemos a oportunidade de interagir com os residentes locais, muito simpáticos e amáveis permitindo-nos participar com as crianças nas suas tarefas com os animais. Em resumo, este espaço é uma excelente escolha para quem procura um ambiente simples mas acolhedor. Foi bastante agradável, quer ao nível da localização, quer ao nível da hospitalidade e do espaço (interior e exterior). O espaço é como apresentam as fotos. A casa está muito bem equipada e é muito moderna. O local é muito sossegado. Todo o espaço exterior estava muito bem cuidado. Fomos muito bem recebidos, os anfitriões são muito simpáticos e preocupados com o bem estar dos hóspedes. Recomendamos sem dúvida e esperemos voltar um dia.

Nuestra estancia allí ha sido fantástica. La casa es nueva, está limpia y es muy amplia y comoda. Además José Carlos y su familia han sido muy amables. La zona es además muy bonita, tanto la playa como alrededores.

Todo perfecto y con todas las comodidades explicadas en el anuncio. Isabelle siempre ha estado atenta a cualquier necesidad. Sus padres encantadores y cercanos, nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Chaleureusement accueilli par Antonio qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils et a été disponible pendant tout notre séjour pour répondre à nos questions. Nous avons adoré le charme et l’emplacement de cette maison traditionnelle. Proche de la plage et de nombreuses villes à découvrir. Si vous aimez l’authenticité, le clame et les beaux paysages allez-y sans hésitation ! Merci encore à Antonio pour sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance.

Ótima casa para uns dias tranquilos com um grupo de amigos!

The view from this home is priceless. It is spacious and very comfortable. The power went out multiple times but always came right back on. The host was quick to respond to all of our questions and requests.

La casa es tal como se describe. Preciosa, cuidada, limpia y ordenada. Con una rehabilitación moderna y muy funcional. Leña muy abundante a disposición para la estufa, que hará buena falta si como a nosotros te toca un clima frío en los días que te alojes en la casa. Como único punto negativo, la existencia de otra casa a escasos metros en la misma finca priva a este alojamiento de la excelencia, aunque si reservas las 2 viviendas junto a un grupo o familia de amigos, esto está solucionado 😉. La comunicación con Vila Nova de Cerveira es muy buena sí dispones de vehículo.

Nos ha encantado la casa de Jose Mario. Todo estaba muy limpio y recogido, el barrio muy tranquilo, las camas cómodas, los baños relucientes, muchas luz, poder aparcar en la puerta y cómoda para ver el norte de Portugal. Todo lo que se puede desear cuando alquilas una casa por Airbnb a un precio más que razonable. Simplemente perfecta.

Be sure to follow hosts directions to location as Google maps route is extremely tight and difficult to navigate. Once there and easy route to property is identified there are no problems. Beautiful property and surroundings, ideal for self catering meals. Reasonable proximity to Geres national Park which is breathtakingly beautiful. Hosts Miguel and Raquel were very friendly and helpful during our stay.

We travelled in a group of 5 , 2 couples +1 adult. The host living in the next house seems only speak Portuguese but very friendly. You can write in English via messaging apps. Communication was not an issue at all

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! Tout était parfaitement conforme à l’annonce : calme, propre, bien équipé, avec un accueil vraiment exceptionnel. L’hôte est d’une grande gentillesse, chaleureuse, disponible tout en restant très discrète. Elle avait même préparé un lit douillet pour notre bébé, ce qui nous a beaucoup touchés. Malgré quelques jours de pluie, nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien chez elle, comme à la maison. Le cadre est paisible, en pleine campagne, exactement ce que nous recherchions, tout en étant un point de départ idéal pour explorer le nord du Portugal. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons vivement !

Ana’s place is a perfect hidden getaway surrounded by amazing views of the countryside and mountains. A car is a necessity. Beautiful flowers, fresh fruit and veggies all around, this place was a great quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were greeted by Ana’s mother who accommodated a late night check in and was there to help any questions we had. Our secondary host, Quarantine the cat, also made sure we had company for our entire stay and was a real delight to have around. Great peaceful escape!

Casa restaurada en un entorno tranquilo y con hermosas vistas. Todo muy bien cuidado. Puedes bajar caminando a Caminha y aprovechar para hacer ejercicio. Si no te apetece hacer playa puedes tomar el sol en el estupendo jardín. Si vas con niños muy apropiado para que jueguen sin molestar a vecinos. Totalmente recomendable.

Casa espaçosa, bem decorada, com todas as comodidades necessárias para passar uns bons dias. O espaço exterior é lindo e a piscina ótima! O estado da casa e do jardim estavam impecáveis. Perfeito para relaxar!!

Excellent séjour

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Le logement d'Isabel est parfaitement situé dans un endroit calme où on peut se reposer après avoir visité une bonne partie du nord du Portugal. Nous étions 7 adultes et nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour dans cette belle maison confortable et spacieuse. Les échanges avec Isabel étaient faciles et amicaux. Si l'occasion se représentait, nous reviendrions avec plaisir.
