Catch The Dream:; An Immersive Equestrian Escape

Welcome to the most serene and immersive equine retreat in the area! We are so happy you decided to stay with us. We want you to feel relaxed and at home as you enjoy the equine activities as well as the cozy log cabin and all its features and amenities! Enjoy views of the lush property and relax as you watch the horses graze and roam. We offer customized horsemanship opportunities that accommodate each person's level of comfort and ability. Cost: $75 for two hours, maximum of two lessons/day

Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

FUNKS INN-no extra guest fees or cleaning fee

This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.

Welcome to The O'Bannon House in Waterloo, IL, where we offer the best of both worlds! The city limits of St Louis are only about 17 miles away, yet we are located within walking distance of all that the idyllic town of Waterloo offers: great restaurants, shops, and breweries. Enjoy our coffee bar, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a park-like backyard. If you have a larger group, consider booking this unit (The Ruby) and the upstairs unit (The Hugh) so you can all stay in one place!

Serenity Log Inn - Log Out and Log Inn to Serenity

Welcome to Serenity Log Inn. This authentic 1930s log cabin is located one mile from the historical town of Kimmswick and 25 miles from St. Louis with easy access to major highways. There is a $30.00 fee per use of the historical fireplace. Fee covers set up, dry wood for burning, fire starter and maintenance, and $18.00 fee first use to cover clean up. To prevent infestation of insects, no outside wood allowed. 24 hr notice required.

Rock House Retreat

Unplug and enjoy a slower pace of life at this picturesque rock cottage. The 1920’s former hunting lodge was built from stone sourced from the property, and is as charming as ever. Enjoy an early morning stroll on one of the many hiking trails, or just relax on the porch while sipping coffee. There are many great hiking opportunities within a short drive, however, once you get settled in you may not find a reason to leave.

Cozy Barndominium Loft in Friendly Neighborhood

A modern, but cozy, 562-sq.-ft. loft apartment with full kitchen and bath, queen bed (with a Winkbeds Luxury Firm mattress)a twin Murphy Bed / desk, living room, walk-in closet, FireStick, Roku, DVD player, WiFi and more. Note that the barn is in our back yard and part of our home, so we don't allow instant book. We know it's a bit of a pain, but hope everyone will understand given that we live here too.

Westerfield Log Cottage

Westerfield Cottage is a cozy retreat just 20 miles from St. Louis and 7 miles from Scott AFB. This log cabin, in studio apartment style, has a small private bathroom, television & Roku, microwave, mini-fridge, and top notch amenities with multiple outdoor seating options. This unique and comfortable accommodation sleeps three in the king size bed and pull out sofa bed, all in one room.

The Loft at 12A

An open and updated space with natural light and 10 foot ceilings! This fresh and clean space is conveniently located on a quite corner of Main Street. Walking distance from eateries and cocktail hours. For your convenience The loft is fully equipped with WiFi and A smart station. If you’re in town for business, you’ve found the perfect spot!
