Private and Hidden away but short drive to excellent coffee houses. A woodburner for cosy days in, and bed made up with quality linen, means it's hard to leave when your Retreat ends! Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Cosy 1 bed barn conversion with log burner

Red Kite barn is a recently converted barn in a beautiful courtyard setting, located between the villages of Llandybie and Derwydd in Carmarthenshire. Self-contained with your own entrance, a truly comfortable home from home to stay in, whilst exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside. It is attached to a bigger barn where we live, and another 2 bed opposite. We are dog friendly, please read the house rules before booking, and please let us know if you are bringing your dog at time of booking.

Cosy Log Cabin

Lovely, tranquil retreat on the road to Llansteffan, three miles from Carmarthen. The log cabin is at the far end of a large lily pond within the grounds of our three-acre garden. Features include a log burner, fluffy bathrobes, slippers and towels, DVD library, large box of games, private deck and garden area overlooking the pond, BBQ and outdoor lighting. NB: the Cosy Cabin does not have WiFi. It is not suitable for children under the age of 12 because of the log burner and the large pond.

The garden Lodge would also be suitable for people working in the surrounding area. In the lodge there is one bedroom with one double bed, Shower/toilet ,kitchen area comprising of fridge,micro wave, toaster and kettle, there is no oven or hob, In the lounge area there is a smart tv with free wi fi access.

For nature lovers we have a variety of wild flowers and birds. On clear nights our rural location offers great opportunities for star gazing. We are surrounded by castles, beaches and attractions including the National Botanic Gardens. Further out are the beautiful Gower and Tenby beaches and the walks and waterfalls of Brecon.
