This place was fantastic! We stayed here with our 4 daughters. They loved feeding and talking to Hershey the donkey every day. The home was clean and SO WELL SUPPLIED! We have stayed in so many AirBnBs where we had to rewash the silverware for every meal--not here! There were cooking utensils and silverware and plates and cups and bowls galore as well as tinfoil and parchment (so helpful for leftovers and baking). The owner also quickly supplied firewood when she realized it had been overlooked. We loved sitting in the front room playing games, reading, doing puzzles and enjoying the woodstove. The home is at the end of a mountain road and we hiked on the mountain and took walks up and down the road. The only constructive criticism I would have is that the key instructions are confusing. I would just say, there is no key, just a keypad with a code to get in and out. Thank you again for lovely quiet place for us to get away and celebrate New Years!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay Jon's place, 5/5 The location was perfect - peaceful, yet close to local restaurants and attractions. My favorite thing was the view of the mountains, which was simply breathtaking! Great spot to relax with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, highly recommend! My girlfriends and I stayed at this beautiful NC house and we loved it!! It was a nice way to get away from the city and have a relaxing weekend full of board games, baking Halloween cookies and treating ourselves to an in house spa night. The house was so beautiful and we were obsessed with all the themed rooms. The hot tub was of course a hit! The house is also near great hiking spots. We did a hike inside the neighborhood and we also went to Chimney Rock State Park, which isn’t far from the house. We ended our weekend at the neighborhood restaurant which had plenty of yummy food options and beautiful scenery to take lots of photos at! We absolutely loved in and would go back again!

Cowboy Cabin was an awesome stay. Just as described. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of amenities. Close to everywhere we needed to get to. Kimberly was extremely responsive with communications. Perfect for our needs.

Had a great stay, everything I needed. Will stay there again, Harry is a great host.

Do not think twice about this cabin rental. The home is absolutely perfect! The kitchen has everything you need (spices, oil, tools, space, keurig, drip, all the things you hope it will have when you show up) The couch is incredibly comfortable. The beds too are amazing. Main bathroom has a very modern shower and toilet. But most of all the deck and the view are worth every penny. We spent most of our time reading and drinking coffee from the chairs on the deck. And it was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a brief issue with a power outage but a) they have a generator that automatically turned on and b) the owner was proactively communicative to let us know and kept tabs that we were okay and when the power went back on. Wish we could have stayed longer. Rent it for a day or two longer because you won’t want to leave. Thank you to Susie and the team who hosted us, we had exactly the trip we needed

Marisa’s house is a beautiful cabin that was worth every penny. It is convenient to Brevard and the Pisgah Forest for the fishing and outdoor enthusiast. Marisa was very accommodating to my group and was prompt to responding to messages. The house was clean and lacked no amenities. The kitchen was well furnished with pots, pans, etc. and linens were plentiful. I would recommend Marisa’s place for anyone hoping to get away and stay in a beautiful part of North Carolina.

There really are no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. For our family of 6, and our 2 doggies, we were looking for a large space in a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy the holidays together. We are all so busy and run in different directions, and we thought this would be a great way to have a captive Christmas for everyone to enjoy time together! We were right! The owner has the house decorated perfectly for Christmas, and the basement level was perfect for our 3 grown boys to play video games and bond together! Grandma enjoyed the large tv with the giant window overlooking the mountain and lake - and mom & dad (us) enjoyed the master bedroom & bath with a balcony overlooking the mountain and lake. It was perfect, like Switzerland, but only 2 hours from home! We have treasured memories of our trip!
