Fallen Treehouse pet-friendly near NOLA

Adirondack-style treehouse cabin surrounded by a 99,000-acre national forest. The nearby spring-fed creek is a lovely cooling-off spot with miles and miles of pristine sand-bars. This house has two beds. One is across from the wood stove. The second is in the sleeping loft. The loft has an open fourth wall and a queen mattress. It’s a cozy spot and not roomy. Please see the photos of the main room to note the loft’s ladder near the bed. •••Sports cars fare badly on old gravel roads.

False River Lakefront Fishing Cabin

Steps from the water, this camp sits on a giant 75 foot lot with a carport and cozy screened-in porch. The inside is super clean with central air and heat and 2 window units. There's 2 swings - 1 on the pier and 1 under the porch, a fire pit, and tons of room for a big cookout! party barge can be rented

Log Cabin on the River

The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

Rolling Hills Retreat

Enjoy peace and nature in this cozy upstairs barn apartment on 6 quiet acres, just 10 minutes from downtown St. Francisville. Watch deer in the morning and horses in the pasture from your window. The space includes a private mudroom with washer/dryer, full kitchen, open living area, and two queen bedrooms. Walking trails are 5 minutes away by car. Friendly barn cats and country dogs live on the property, but keep to themselves. A perfect mix of country charm and nearby small-town fun!

This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. The first floor has a large living/dining area with a sofa, dining table, modern, fully furnished kitchen and full bathroom. There’s a double size air mattress available upstairs. The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.
