This beautiful beach cottage is the quintessential Florida beach house! Come relax & play on the white sand beaches of Treasure Island in Pinellas County. Enjoy beautiful sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico, wonderful restaurants and endless activities - many within walking distance or accessible via the local trolley (trolley stop less than 100 feet away). Also available are "free beach rides" a local service providing rides for tips. Restaurants range from beach casual to seaside elegance. Boat rentals, paddle board and kayak rentals, put-put golf, museums, parasailing, arcade (for that rare rainy day) charter fishing, bike rentals and the Treasure Island Beach Trail are just a few of the nearby activities. The Tampa Bay Rays game is only a 10-15 minute drive. Only steps from the front door, located just across Gulf Boulevard is access to the beach. Popular John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk (dining/shopping/entertainment) is just over a quarter-mile away. Treasure Island is known as the sand sculpture capital of Florida, and hosts the annual Kite Festival & Sport Kite competition (one of the largest in the US). This updated and comfortably furnished house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and easily sleeps 6, with 2 queen beds and 1 queen pull-out. Amenities include parking (which is a premium on Treasure Island), Wi-Fi, DVD player, kitchen stocked with pots/pans and dishes, dishwasher, coffee maker, washer & dryer, bed linens, towels for bath and beach, and use of beach chairs/beach toys. It is Key West Style, 1 blk from the Gulf of Mexico with no thru traffic. This isle is only 3 mi .Sunset Bch is about 1 mi. Built in 1929. There were only 3 other hms here. It has been updated. The bath rm is VERY small. Cubicle shower, toilet ,and sink. I also have a hot and cold shower behind the garage. It has high ceilings with wood beams. 30inch flat screen TV with highspeed internet, Full kitchen, and there is a futon in the living room. No Cable . I do NOT allow dogs unless Preapproved .
