Melanie’s cabin was tucked away behind the main shopping strip in Cowes, only a few steps from the Red Jet ferry terminal. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay, we were only sorry it was the wrong time of year to enjoy the sun deck.

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

We had a lovely stay at Ambers cabin. The cabin was just as described on web site. Everything you need is available utensils,towels etc. Amber was welcoming and friendly.

Thank you for our stay 17-21 April 2025! We found our time enjoyable, space was clean and tidy, easy to find with clear instructions on what to do, the host messaged us details about check in etc and sent us a message on the day when caravan was ready, as it was ready earlier than the check in time so they sent us a message to let us know! Caravan had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. Clean and tidy, with the added bonus of milk/biscuits/tea/coffee/sugar and toilet roll on arrival which is always a nice touch after a journey! we forgot to pack toys for our little one but was great to find a box of big lego and board games/cards available for us to use which went down well in the evenings, so this was great! Lots of places to visit locally all within a short drive - Blue Pool is a must as well as Corfe Castle and the steam train ride! This is our 2nd time staying on the Rockley Park site (stayed a few years ago) 1st time in this caravan but would highly recommend!

Anthony was super welcoming and even gave us little extras in the fridge for our stay. Veyr very thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel so welcome and came out to talk to us when we walked our dogs on his grounds. We will definitely return as there is so much to do and a great pub around the corner which is a two min walk. The property itself is quaint, clean and spacious and was perfect for my friend and I. We got home after our break feeling refreshed and relaxed. The property has everything you could need and I whole heartedly recommend this for anyone just want to check out of the hum drum for a while. We will definitley go back!

I don't know where to start! The location was superb; it was right by the sea, in a tranquil place with breathtaking views. Fiona was incredible! Liked us up, dropped us off at the bus station, and even gave me a lift to the nearest town while I was late for dinner. She baked fresh homemade cheese scones, filling our hearts with love. It felt like Fiona, more than a host; she felt like a friend who was genuinely happy to see us. The care, the enthusiasm, and the hospitality were unmatched! I try to visit the Isle of Wight at least once a year, and now I've discovered my perfect place to stay! I genuinely recommend this place. It's a perfect place for a couple or two friends.

We had wonderful stay in the cabin (3 nights). Cabin is pristine clean and cosy, kitchen fully equipped. We were excited to find books about the local area, cuisine and birds, as well as our favourite board games of scrabble and battleship! :) Much appreciate very helpful communication with Rachel, before and throughout our stay.

this wasn't our first cycling trip and stay, fantastic family and welcome. couldn't ask for a better place to stay, added benefit that we where allowed to store our bikes in a locked room. I strongly recommend this location and Rebekah, Greg and the family are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. see you again....

This was the second time we stayed at the glorious little Acorn Hut. Again we were very warmly welcomed by the family and we had a perfect stay! We will go back again!

Had the most amazing weekend, cabin was delightful and very cosy, Hot Tub was great. Great walks as practically on top of the Ridgeway. Richard was a great host, I would highly recommend to stay, great getaway for piece, relaxation, with great walks & beautiful scenery. Thanks Rich for a great stay 🙂

Emily's place is well equipped, well positioned and nicely decorated. The bedroom is light and airy. We very much appreciated the prosecco and milk left for us in the fridge. It was a shame we only had time to stay one night - it's a great spot!

Firstly, we will definatley be back in the future! We decided to stay due to its proximity to Longleat but also the coast. The pod did not disapoint, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The weather was lovely which meant the far reaching views were beautiful. Such a lovely peaceful place to stay

We had such an amazing get away, it was so relaxing and felt like home. Paul was super helpful, made us feel comfortable and gave a great recommendation for food. Close enough to get to the Beach and town but far enough to enjoy the quiet and relax!

Lovely stay, loved the cabin and its own private garden was perfect for our dogs.

I live locally and booked the shepherd's hut for my parents for a night. They were absolutely delighted with the stay - it's extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious. They commented that the shower was fantastic, and there are loads of thoughtful touches all around the cabin as you explore. Thanks again, Mandy and Martin - I'm sure they'll be back!

What a quaint shepherds hut. It had everything we needed and more. The decor was lovely and the attention to detail was superb. Even the welcome touches, bread, eggs and milk on arrival. Would highly recommend.

The Hut was a cosy, tranquil place to stay. We loved that it felt private, a little piece of the New Forest just for you. The Hut had everything you could need and more, we were very surprised by all the little touches added to make it feel extra special. Jo was an amazing host. She has done wonders with The Hut. We are already looking to book another stay this year. A gem of a find and we can't recommend it enough.

We had a wonderful few days stay at the shepherd's hut. The hut is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed, and super well equipped with everything you could need! It was so cosy, a perfect little respite. Would highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

Our visit to Moreton was made all the more memorable and special by how unique and perfect our stay in Ruth's shepherds huts was, staying here was the perfect combination of everything we wanted out of a weekend away rolled up into a very well presented and produced package that catered for pretty much every all we could of hoped and asked for, it was truly a pleasure to stop the two nights we had and found it such a relaxing and enjoyable experience to have the privacy and peace of the huts and the surrounding garden to unwind in and bask in the tranquility of it all, Ruth was a superb host and was very friendly and helpful along with always being on hand to assist with any potential issues so I would highly this place as somewhere you can't afford to miss out on if you are visiting this area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shepherd’s Hut. Idyllic setting and so peaceful. Really interesting watching the sheep from our lovely seating area and fire pit. Would recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely perfect. Our two young children were nervous to stay away from home, were so at ease they didn't want to leave. Really is a 5* all round. Chickens are bonkers and super friendly. The only negative was we never got to meet Victoria to thank her in person. Which really isn't negative at all 😀 I would have just gushed at her! It's so easy to navigate everything we had no worries in the world. We literally had the entire place to ourselves. Thank you so much. I didn't want to leave either x

My partner and I stayed at the cabin over the weekend and we were so happy with everything. The cabin is private, clean, tidy and accessible. We had lovely conversations with the owner of the home, what a lovely lady. We loved the little touches like the milk, tea, coffee etc, cereal, bread, biscuits. This was a return visit ,The Hut is beautifully looked after!! the goodies that are left you are first class just like everything else!! The location for me is perfect !! great walking ,5 mins in the car and you are in Beautiful Bosham or Emsworth and by bus 15 mins Chichester The view from Hut is trees and fields !! so it is abundant in wildlife!! Very Relaxing !! I will return!!
