Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

This was our second time staying in Paul & Amy's Carlsbad cottage and it proved once again to be a quiet and comfortable nest during our travels. Bright, airy, well-designed and super comfortable with a fantastic patio and backyard for winding down—addition of a fire pit made for a really relaxing evening. Centrally located with lots to do around, this is the perfect spot for small families and solo travelers wanting a bit of a break from the touristy options. Paul is very communicative and helpful, even sending over video instructions how to work the sauna and fire pit upon arrival— Highly recommend and will return again!

Staying at Nancy's place was a fantastic experience for my family, a family of four including two children. The house is beautiful and Nancy was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The kitchen is very well equipped, the front and back yards are lovely to sit in. The only difficulty we encountered was that we didn't have longer to stay! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The host is wonderful and very responsive. The location can’t be beat! Right on the creek with floor to ceiling windows. With a short walk we were at the brewery and were near the shops, pharmacy, galleries, and great restaurants. The property has many bird feeders that are visited by colorful birds and squirrels. The home is pet-friendly with a fantastic fenced yard and large bolstered dog bed. Our dog had so much to sniff, and she rested comfortably while inside. What isn’t noted in the description is that although there are 2 bathrooms, there is only 1 shower and no tub. The bathroom without a shower or tub is carpeted and doesn’t have a heating source. Although the home is a bit dated, it is totally worth staying in. It’s bright, comfy, well located, the furnishings are cute, the fireplace is lovely, the aromatherapy humidifier is awesome, and the host is fantastic!

This Air BNB is my favorite in Carlsbad. Easy parking, walkable to all the shopping and restaurants. it is always clean, too!

Awesome place for our small family. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown Oceanside with lots of shops and restaurants. Overall would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place, easy check in/check out process. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Convenient to a lot of shops, restaurants and only 15 minutes from Legoland. Would recommend and stay again.

David was very responsible and helpful during our 3nights stay. The pool was huge and clean and it was ready to use. Also dining area inside and outside was well organized, lighting for the backyard is also amazing! I highly recommend booking this place for your vacation! I would re-rent this place again. We had a great time here! The house is beautiful and can fit so many people very comfortably. We enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen and in the backyard when we were back from our day’s activities. There are a couple things people may want to know before booking - it’s a quiet neighborhood, so you’ll need to be quiet or indoors after 9pm. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if your group wants to be outside late into the evening, this would not be the place for you. Also, Kimberly charges by the number of people, not just a flat rate. That’s not something I’ve ever seen before, but she’s up front about everything, so as long as you know and are okay with that, it’s a great place to stay. We overall had a wonderful time. And I’d recommend staying there.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a wedding to attend to at Morgan Estate, which was just walking distance across the street. A lot of wineries along the main road. We will definitely be returning to this home in future vacations in Temecula.

We had such a great Spring Break stay at Tamarack Palms with our two young kids and our pup. The yard and heated pool were the stars—our kids were thrilled to have so much space to play, and even though the weather was cool, the heated pool made it easy to enjoy time outside every day. The location was ideal—peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, Carlsbad Village, and essentials like Von’s. It made daily outings and grocery runs super convenient. Inside, the home was clean, stylish, and well laid out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family, and having a washer and dryer made the whole trip easier. The main living space is cozy but functional, and we felt right at home. Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. No negatives at all—just a peaceful, well-located family stay. We’d absolutely stay again.

Sydnie’s place was perfect for our stay. We felt comfortable staying there. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Our entire family felt very comfortable, safe, and impressed during our entire stay here!! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday….we went hot air ballooning, visited a few wineries, and visited a petting farm with our 6 year old and 3 year old grandsons. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. We were able to cook all of our meals everyday utilizing all of the kitchen equipment and bbq! I even had room to set up a bar for cocktails for all of us! The ping pong table and pool table was also enjoyed by all! It was a perfect place to have a family get together…7 adults and 2 kids! We discussed celebrating future birthdays (my 80th), thanksgiving dinners, and family milestones and we all agreed that this would be the perfect spot! Hopefully Stephanie will allow us to do these here!!!

Our party of 7 (including two dogs) had a very comfortable, pleasant stay at this Carlsbad house! Cyndi was super responsive and communicative. So nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The location is awesome and near a fantastic park, grocery stores, etc. We enjoyed using the community pool and jacuzzi!

Scott and Lucy’s house is amazing. The details are well thought out and you can tell they have put a lot of love into the place. All the beds are comfy and each mattress is a bit different. Scott was so friendly and had great communication through our stay. He was flexible with check in and check out times. I was celebrating my birthday there with friends and he made sure I had a great stay. He even had a bottle of wine and champagne waiting for me which we enjoyed on the deck. Having an upper and lower deck was great as it gets hot but one deck was always shaded by the trees. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking and on the private side of the property. There is one neighboring house that is pretty close on one side of the house but on the side with the hot tub and upper deck you feel like you are completely alone in the wilderness. There are trails you can hike from the property just walk straight a few minutes through the gate and you hit a fire road. Hope to stay again.

Rob’s place was just as described. We found it quiet and peaceful, with enough room for our needs. It had a nice little fenced-in area (great for dogs) and everything was comfortable. Rob was timely, clear, and friendly in his communications. Easy to get to Legoland and plenty of restaurants in the area.

A great spot for a weekend getaway! The house was super cute - fitted with a fire burning stove! Perfect little cabin, with nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Super clean and well decorated. The backyard was large and all enclosed so perfect for my dog to go exploring, while the humans relaxed but the fire pit and in the hot tub! It was close to town, but had a full kitchen so perfect for cooking in or going out! I loved this spot - we will be back! The owner was super responsive - even sending us a welcome text and responding to my questions early in the morning!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s cabin. It’s the perfect size for two guests and is located steps from the main shops/attractions in Idyllwild so it wasn’t necessary to drive anywhere. As other reviews have indicated, the spiral staircase leading to the 2nd floor bedroom is quite narrow, but the upper level is also accessible via an exterior staircase that leads to the upper deck so we didn’t have any issues. Great experience overall.

Charming place with actually more space than I expected. The opposite end bedrooms worked out well and the yard was perfect for our dog. Quiet time in house rules 9pm - 9am however there is a newer food/bar place just around the corner that is fairly loud past 9pm that makes street parking difficult on the weekend. The house has no parking but street so if you didn’t keep a car out front, it was hard to park if the eatery was crowded. All in all we were happy with it. Communication is excellent and quick. I would stay again. I live in north county and had to be out of my home for a tent fumigation so this was perfect since I have a dog. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Cell coverage is very weak in this area.

Charming Cozy Stay in the Snow! We had a wonderful stay at this cute little Airbnb in Idyllwild! The space was perfect for two adults (and small pet-friendly too, which was a huge plus for us). The backyard is super big plenty of room to let your pup roam around. We visited during snowfall, and the whole experience felt like a winter wonderland. The home was warm, cozy, and just a short distance from the main village market. Super convenient for grabbing food or exploring local shops. Mario, our host, was incredibly attentive and responsive. He quickly addressed the small issues we encountered and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

This absolutely beautiful, stunning, and open-spaced A-Frame cabin was the absolute best stay we could’ve asked for. Paul & Melanie were extremely kind, informative, available, and flexible. If they were our host for any and all future air bnb’s, we’d be delighted! If you’re thinking of a get-away cabin in scenic nature, you’ve found the perfect, zen, accommodating cabin here at their Carpe-diem cabin! Highly, HIGHLY, recommend! Great food nearby, beautiful scenery, wonderful townspeople, quiet and quaint, lovely and private.
