Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

The Chalet is situated in Carinthia in 1875 meters at the beautiful Falkertsee. The house has four exceptional bedrooms with 12 beds. The location is perfect for hiking or skiing in winter. Chalet Wolfbachgut is located in Taxenbach and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. The furnishings have been designed with great attention to detail, trying to preserve the traditional and combine the old with the modern. The two-storey accommodation consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms as well as 2 guest toilets and thus offers space for 17 people.
