Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. This 12x12 house is off grid with a cute outhouse nestled in the timber behind the wildlife rescue. Relax and unplug for the weekend and know 100% of the fee goes to the animal rescue. As one who loves to travel and hospitality is my “thing” I can assure you that my cozy cottage is the perfect place for all travelers, including traveling nurses, doctors, backpack travelers. It has everything needed to cook your own meals. We provide bed sheets, towels, toiletries, coffee, cream and sugar, WiFi, pack and play, parking for more than 3 vehicles. Excellent walking location to Morrison Community Hospital, Whiteside County Courthouse , gas stations, McDonald’s, grocery store.
