Brian was excellent in communication and answering questions about his place and the surrounding area, prior to our departure. Unfortunately we were staying there for a business trip, and our client cancelled the trip two days before we left. The reason was a lake effect snowstorm that was going to hit Syracuse and surrounding areas the day we were to drive up to Altmar, NY from the Philadelphia region. At the time, the weather teams in Philadelphia were telling us that we could get hit on our way back to Philly with snow that would be 12" - 15", which didn't happen. Our client is going to reschedule the trip hopefully in the near future. My crew and I tend to book Brian's place again when it's rescheduled. We wanted to give Brian 5 stars on everything, because there really isn't a place in the 'ratings' area that says 'we had to cancel the trip'. I'm sure once we get up there for the reschedule that we'll be giving a 5 star rating regardless.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the charming Stone Cottage room.- a wonderful location close to everything in Cazenovia. Watching the sunset from the shore of the lake next door was a delightful bonus. Wendy is an attentive and thoughtful host. Our stay was everything we could have wanted. As we have family in the area we will definitely come again.

The condo is beautiful and perfect location! We liked having the beach right in the backyard and seeing the beautiful sunsets! Quick walk to everything in town. Plenty of bath and beach towels provided. My kids had a blast with the arcade game! Host is quick to respond. We would def book again at this house!

I didn't realize that you had to bring your own linen. Sara was nice enough to include it with our stay. Very nice thing to do

We have stayed in one of Troy's properties in the past and it was a great experience. This location did not disappoint. Beautiful view, easy beach access, spotless accommodations and hot tubs. The area in the off-season is very quiet but a few walkable restaurants were open and the Dollar General, which had everything you can think of. The property was generously stocked with everything we needed for the long weekend. I would highly recommend scooping this place up between Labor Day and Columbus Day if you can!

We stayed with Daniel & Renata over the 4th of July. It was such a great time. The property is right on the water. We docked our boat there. They had kayaks and a swim platform and a volleyball net set up. We used the grill one night. The fireplace another night. The place was clean and we were all able to fit comfortably. We were even able to check in early. The communication was quick and easy - one night there was rain forecasted and we asked if we could shelter our motorcycle in the game room and within a minute we got a response that it would be ok! Fabulous hosts and a great property. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Cute place, conveniently located in the center of everything ! The place is quaint and perfect for a small family. The outside has a cute setup perfect for relaxing outside watching the sunset.

The view is absolutely breathtaking. This is our second year returning to this location and we had such a great time from kayaking, paddle boarding, volleyball, utilizing the outdoor kitchen, having a fire, swimming to docking our boat. Daniel is an amazing host that is very responsive. We are looking forward to returning next year!

This is a diamond in the rough. The cabin is quirky and wonderfully unique. This quickly creates an atmosphere of old world charm. Secluded from neighbors who were closer than they felt, the private beach, instantly calming views, this is a home, not merely a rental. We were on our honeymoon, checking out regions in the Northeast to relocate back to New York. Because of this cabin, despite the popularity of the Finger Lakes, we would live here. Structures on a lake always have their issues with water pressure and it rained and rained til the next to last day. Michael proactively messaged us to inquire about the water pressure was and was out in 30 minutes to change the filters - we didn’t even have to ask! That is truly taking care of guests!

it was perfect for our trip. it was convenient with plenty of amenities nearby. it was centrally located to everywhere we went. The house is set beautifully on the lake.

This is our second year returning to this townhouse. The location is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We truly enjoy the volleyball, paddle boards, kayaks, ability to dock our boat and an area for our kiddos to just run free. Daniel is extremely responsive and an amazing host. We are super excited to return again next year!

This home exceeded our expectations! We had a beautiful view of the lake from the wrap around deck and a great little beach area to enjoy the waterfront. I would highly recommend staying here, Terry was an excellent host and responded to our questions right away. We will definitely be coming back to visit soon.

Paul’s lodge is a beautiful, peaceful escape on the lake. The outdoor spaces are fantastic. We traveled with 2 families of 4 (four kids ages 10-13) and the kids found plenty to do with exploring, hiking, polar plunging, and using the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We spent a lot of time on the deck with the fireplace, which was wonderful in the evenings and at night! Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive car… the access road is steep and slippery when wet! Just take your time and you’ll be fine driving in or out. The hike to the mailboxes was a fun little challenge! We spent one day in the adorable town of Skaneateles, and Mike recommended a great place for us to eat (Sherwood inn). The town is quaint and lots of nice shopping! Overall we had an excellent time and would come back again!

Better than expected! Very spacious. Great place for a long weekend getaway with our children and grandchildren. Everything was clean, beach was absolutely perfect for the grandchildren. Felt like home, Nice restaurants all within a short drive. Host was extremely helpful and responded within minutes. We'll be back for sure!

Lovely place for an inter-generational family reunion. Beautiful setting right on the lake. Cottage comes equipped with everything we needed inside (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms) as well as many outdoor recreational options (canoes, fishing rods, kids toys, horseshoes, firewood, etc). Host very supportive and responsive. Highly recommend.

I had a girls weekend for my sisters bday . We had a great time beautiful view look just like the photos had everything we needed and the place was spotless. also the host was very commutative and checked on us to make sure everything was good 5 stars will book again this time with the family!

First trip to Sylvan beach. Ricks place was fantastic. I needed four rooms and kept finding places where had all these makeshift “rooms” that were actually the living room with a pull out couch. Rick’s place was great with 4 actual bedrooms. The place was right on the water and we enjoyed swimming in the lake and hanging out on the huge deck. Rick was more than accommodating when we needed to come in early and stay a little late. Rick gets 5 stars from me and when I’m back in town i will def come back.
