Country Barn Conversion - Grounds of Old Corn Mill

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of the County, we are near to many great walks, National Trust & English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

A quiet rural retreat for 2 with outstanding views across the Shropshire countryside. Ideal for walkers and cyclists alike the detached cottage offers plenty of space for you to relax and unwind. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets in the summer or during the autumn/winter months, the cottage becomes a wonderfully snug hideaway, with the woodburning stove making it the perfect place to curl up after a brisk walk through the Shropshire Hills or exploring the local area. Locked bike storage available.

Lime Kiln Loft is close to the typically English, historic market town of Much Wenlock (5mins walk) and has direct access to the Wenlock Edge Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty fantastic for walking and cycling. We are also a short drive from the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. It's in a beautiful rural location yet close to independent shops, traditional pubs and restaurants. Its clean, modern and well equipped. The studio is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Black Sheep Barn. Stylish, remote and great views.

Black Sheep Barn is a luxurious two bedroom converted barn situated near Ludlow in a remote, undiscovered pocket of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. It’s a good place to get away from it all as it’s a half mile up a steep track from the nearest road. We think it is a special place and we hope you will think so too.

Enchmarsh Farm barn

Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

Penny Black Cottage

The master bedroom with sweeping views across the valley has a Superking size bed (can also be 2 singles).

The Garden House

Relax in our garden house in rural Shropshire. You'll be greeted by curious cats and chickens...and probably Allan and me. There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's lots of interesting CDs to to play, is all we ask is that you return the CD to its case and to the appropriate place in the shelf.

The R-J Rabble's retreat is a private cabin in the corner of our family garden. Totaling 30 sqm it provides a snug glamping experience for you to bed down after a day’s walking on Wenlock edge or exploring life in the Shire. Ideal for families, couples, walkers, and cyclists.
