Great for walkers, situated down a quiet lane, with fantastic walks from the front door through woodland, fields or moorland. .

"Ye Old Shop"

"Ye Old Shop" 17th/19th century (Needham Cottage) has a cosy, quirky character, a simple charm or two. Stone single dwelling that used to be the village shop. Log burner in a spacious lounge - a small equipped gallery kitchen - Secret garden with views of River castle with rustic garden room. Ideally located for exploring the Peak District National Park - beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Pub 0.7 miles. Matlock 2.5 miles away with pubs, supermarket, restaurants, cafes etc. Sorry no pets or children.

Countryside Retreat

Hillside is a recently built limestone self contained holiday let, on the edge of a pretty Derbyshire village. Hillside overlooks the village of Bonsall (near Matlock) offering beautiful views from the windows and private patio of the village and surrounding countryside. Bonsall offers an excellent pub, cafe and village shop. There are numerous walks from the doorstep - the Limestone Way passes through the village. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Dove Dale and the Monsal Trails are all a short drive away.

Anvil Cottage sits within its own private courtyard and is a light and airy detached barn conversion, full of charm and character. Over 200 years old, the cottage has been refurbished in 2022. Sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms, pet free, and ideally situated in the heart of the historic village of Winster for walking and touring the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park. A short stroll to the friendly local community shop and pubs. Within easy reach of Matlock, Bakewell and Chatsworth.

Situated on a steep hill above the Derwent Valley, it’s a short drive or good walk to Chatsworth and Bakewell and Matlock. Nestled on the edge of Beeley Moor Copy Wood sits below woodland and is surrounded by fields grazed by sheep. A short walk down brings to Rowsley village. This unique self contained peaceful cottage is 250 years old and set in the centre of the beautiful village of Bonsall in the Peak District and within easy reach of all amenities. Adjoined to the main house by a wall, you have your own private entrance & courtyard (Summer suntrap!). The living/kitchen areas are bright and airy with huge high beamed ceilings and the bedroom with kingsize bed has French doors opening onto your private courtyard, so you can unwind on a warm evening or enjoy a lazy breakfast in summer.

Converted Dutch Barn, Wensley

Situated in the quiet village of Wensley is The Dutch Barn which probably boasts the best views across the dale towards Riber Castle in the Peak District National Park, walks from the doorstep too. It is a spacious but cosy, bright, open plan building which sleeps 2 and has a modern bathroom. It is situated near Matlock and just 7 miles from the lovely town of Bakewell and the famous Chatsworth house. It offers a tranquil stay with secure off road parking and garage facilities too.
