This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. Step outside to our expansive back patio, complete with a gas grill and comfortable seating. It's the perfect spot for BBQs or simply relaxing! Our game room is a hit with guests of all ages, featuring a pool table, darts, and ping pong table! Whether you're up for some friendly competition or just want to unwind, this space has you covered!

There are no cameras anywhere in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop Challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery—Badin Lake, is a twenty-minute ride. Dennis Vineyards is 8 miles away. Guests over one are an additional $15 per day per person (kids under 2 N/C a pet charge of $10 per day per animal. Pets MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. (Airbnb cannot charge the correct "daily" pet fee.) We will ask for any difference after you book.

The Sunshine Cottage on Tillery

Come take your shoes off and sit by the lake. The Sunshine Cottage is ready for 4 guests to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful back deck over looking the lake. You will have waterfront lake access, a dock to swim or sit to enjoy the view and a back deck that is perfect for relaxing. You will be minutes from River Wild and The Eagles Nest at Tillery Tradition golf course, and all the amenities the Uwharrie National Forest offers. Come and enjoy a relaxing vacation on the cove.

Mamaw's House

Transport yourself back to a more peaceful era in this retro brick ranch on a wooded lot! Two large bedrooms share a hall bath. *Bathroom just renovated in 2025.* Period furniture was made in NC for that local touch. Mamaw’s kitchen has been stocked so you can do takeout or make a meal. Drink your coffee on the side porch looking out over the peaceful yard. Parking is a breeze since you have a two-car carport and driveway too. :) No smoking property, pets must be pre-approved

Lakefront Getaway! Get out of the city and enjoy nature at our cozy and comfortable lake front cottage. Relax and unwind at our waterfront cottage on Lake Tillery with a stunning view. • Enjoy swimming and a boat house right in the front yard. (Boat not included but you are welcome to dock at our pier during your stay.) • Use one of our Kayaks or bring your own (we have 2 available) • Enjoy fishing off the pier or the point. (license required if you are over 16)

Even though this is a farmhouse, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping within a short drive.

Nestled on top of Woodsong, a 15-acre Nature Reserve. Started 25 years ago to protect the native plants and wildlife in our area. A cozy stay for couples and adults to relax and reconnect in nature. The studio apartment is fully equipped to give you a vacation feel. Grill out under the hanging nite lights. Unwind at the fire pit. Cuddle up with epic sunsets! Stargaze! Seasonal firewood is provided (free) at guest request.
