Sidwick House is very unusual.. when you enter the church style front door it transports you to another place in time. It has an very mystical atmosphere where one can easily imagine the likes of Harry Potter creating magical potions or where some ancient mysterious folk inhabited. Rumour suggests it originally was a spiritual place of worship. The entrance hall has stonework with inscriptions. Wonderful stone arch windows feature with a stone cross embedded in the back wall.
