«Huset på Bakken» ligger på den smale stripen av land mellom sjøen og fjellene i Ullsfjorden. Her kan man nyte rolige dager med familien eller utfordre seg selv på korte eller lengre turer. Fra huset er det fin utsikt over fjorden og fjellene i alle retninger. Her er flere steder hvor det er grei adkomst til Lyngsalpan landskapsverneområde, med Jiehkkevárri (Jæggevarre) på 1834 moh. som høyeste topp. Det er fine forhold for å se nordlys om vinteren fordi det ikke er gatelys som forstyrrer.

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Nice place, unique nature and northern lights

Large apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, good standard. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. It includes linens, towels, various soaps and possibility to wash clothes. The place is perfect for northern lights watching and nature experiences with proximity to the Lyngen alps. The site is located directly below the northern light belt with little light pollution, 50 minutes from Tromsø. It is recommended to rent a car and we offer a discount deal at Hertz.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. Offer this season a rent car SUV with 4wd; Range Rover Sport for 160 euro pr day.
