Situated on 10 wooded acres and surrounded by farms on rolling hills in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, our recently-updated 5-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the perfect place for your getaway. We are just 15 minutes from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, and 25 minutes from Massanutten. Welcome to our family’s little getaway. Our 12x20 ft cabin sits beside a 2.5 acre pond. Savor the evening beside a campfire listening to the nightfall on our Valley or from the porch swing. The tiny house/cabin is 2 story with a small but full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, & coffee maker) and the sleeping area upstairs. Please note that if you have mobility issues our place might not be right for you. Relax and enjoy being unplugged (no TV or Wi-Fi)

It is just a short drive from JMU, EMU, and Bridgewater College. Harrisonburg, "the friendly city" is just a 15 minute drive from our location. There are two Farmers Markets and numerous other attractions nearby.

Riverside Retreat - Waterfront, Firepit, Fishing

Riverfront Retreat rests on the banks of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River, just 2 miles west of Broadway town limits. We're within 20 minutes of Harrisonburg/JMU, less than an hour from Shenandoah National Park, 40 minutes from Massanutten Resort and only 20-30 minutes from several breathtaking caverns including Shenandoah, Endless, Melrose & Luray.

My place is about 10 minutes from Downtown Harrisonburg and EMU and 15 minutes from JMU's Bridgeforth Stadium and Atlantic Union Bank Center. Come for a great getaway close to many activities but tucked into a quiet neighborhood with scenic views all around. Great for couples, families and remote work!
