Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

No kitchenette, but a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker are provided. Snacks and coffee pods provided. Not accessible for limited mobility. No parties and no smoking.

There is a king bed in master and queen bed in the guest room with extra pillows/blankets and the bathrooms are well stock.

This full property is just off the interstate, in a small, working-class, multicultural neighborhood. North Prospect and Marketplace mall restaurants and shopping destinations are less than 1 mile away. The University of Illinois and Carle Hospital are about 10 miles from the property. This is a pet friendly Airbnb, with a fully fenced backyard and no additional charge for pets and up to 6 guests.

Our Centennial Farm home, situated on 3 acres, is located 8 minutes from the Rantoul Sports Complex, 17 minutes from Gordyville USA Horse Arena, and 25 minutes from the University of Illinois/Illini sports! I-57, I-74, and I-72 are all close by. The house has a fully furnished large kitchen with coffee bar. Two living areas provide plenty of space to relax.
