Off-grid living, high in the Shropshire Hills

The Garden Room is a private, cosy, off-grid apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic kitchen facilities along with a king size bed, a wood burning stove and a piping hot shower. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen; deer in the garden, swallows zooming about, the other morning I saw two hares leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

Originating in 1340, this cosy 1-bed Townhouse is on the river Severn , in the loop of the town and a short walk to the station and theatre. There’s a gorgeous garden with gazebo and a deck overlooking the river. Cellar for bike storage (care, uneven steps). Private Shepherds Hut with enclosed garden in AONB

Award winning Black Mountain Shepherds hut with traditional features in an AONB. It also has a separate, smaller, star gazing hut with table and chairs. Starlink Internet. Fully fenced and sitting in its own private area with BBQ, overlooking the duck pond, stream and small beech wood, it offers en-suite shower room, double pocket sprung bed, log burning stove, underfloor heating and sheep's wool insulation. Geodesic Dome with wood-fired hot tub in the heart of Shropshire countryside. Situated in a 3 acre paddock on our family small holding. Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.

Architect-designed timber cabin on the Shropshire Union Canal. Quiet, secluded, dogs welcome. Set in 0.2 acres of private garden on a working farm, with the canal towpath at the bottom of the plot.
