豊島のリトリート【とくと本館】瀬戸内海を優雅に望む古民家　ここにしかない贅沢な時間を （一棟貸し)

とくとは香川県豊島（てしま）の築約80年の古民家を改修し、2021年の夏から営業を始めました。 趣ある石垣の上の広い敷地にゆったりと構えられた古民家で、落ち着いた邸宅の風情を堪能いただけます。屋根には七福神の鬼瓦が装飾され、古い製法による波打ったガラス窓、とても大きな灯篭など、当時の贅を凝らした建築をお楽しみください。 豊島家浦港から歩いて15分ほどの便利な立地で、のどかな集落全体が見渡せる高台に位置しており、その先には穏やかな瀬戸内海の眺望が拡がります。また、晴れた日の夜には星空や奥の山から昇る月をのんびりと眺めることができます。 建物は「本館」と「別館」からなり、感染症対策として、それぞれの建物に１組ずつ受け入れ、皆様に安心してお泊まりいただけるよう配慮しております。「本館」は、縁側のガラスなども薄く、お子様には危険になりうる箇所がございますので小学生以下のお子様は「別館」をご予約ください。 建物の背後には畑と豊かな里山が広がり、ヤギも飼育しています。また、すぐ近くの静かなため池や、集落の入り組んだ路地も散策におすすめです。 瀬戸内の島時間を「とくと」お楽しみください。

Tsuki no Yado Shiwaku is a 150-yr-old Japanese house built by Shiwaku Carpenters on Hiroshima island in the Seto Inland Sea. Reminiscent of a bygone era, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time. At the entrance, you'll be welcomed by an uchikake (a type of Japanese wedding kimono) reminiscent of the Studio Ghibli classic, “The Tale of Princess Kaguya” Listen to the ocean, feel the breeze, relax & enjoy a step back in time. Old house on hill with a sperb view of the harbor

Located in the quiet hill of old castle overlooking the port of Tomo sea. It's on a hill where the sea breeze blows and keeps you cool even in the summer. Feel confortable on Tatami mat . The house opens onto wooden deck where stars might let you forget anything and you can enjoy the sea breeze. You can also enjoy swiming at the beach.

Haus2354: 5 minutes walk to Ieura Port

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.

“YUI” at Teshima in Seto Inland Sea offers accommodation in a renovated old Japanese folk house, completed with a veranda and a garden, located in Ieura. Exclusively for rent of the entire house. It's located 10-min-walk away from the port and tucked away on side street. *Simple breakfast with some bread & coffee/tea are included. We can arrange a restaurant booking for dinner as needed basis. *Staff will meet up to check-in and pick-up service is available.

It’s located in a village called Karato Oka. You’ll find the Teshima Museum and rice terraces within a short walking. OHANA is a private seaside cottage on Naoshima, known as a sacred place of contemporary art. There are two cottages, sea side and mountain side; Lani is the mountain-side cottage. Free parking is available on site. The cottage accommodates 6–8 guests and includes a kitchen and washing machine. It is a 3-minute walk to the Yellow Pumpkin and 2 minutes to the bus stop. Japanese Potter's Guesthouse - Wasyugama Kiln Stay

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests. Pottery experience available (booking required).
