On the edge of the town centre, restaurants, wine bars, shopping centre, supermarkets are all within a 5-10 minute walk; together with museums, theatres, cinemas, castle, quayside, riverside footpaths and cycleways etc. Historic Williamson Park with the magnificent Ashton Memorial is also within walking distance. Kendal and the Lakes is 30 minutes drive away.

The Aldcliffe Hut has been beautifully handmade with everything you need to enjoy your stay including a wood burning stove and a magical pull down bed. The Hut offers the best of all worlds: it borders a nature reserve, is just 0.7 miles from Lancaster station, is a 10 minute walk from the historic city centre, with its many cafés and museums and a stone's throw from the Lancaster Canal where you can amble along taking in the wildlife, boats and pubs. The perfect place to relax, unwind in the hot tub, take a walk / cycle along the estuary footpath or settle in for a cinema night on the sofa. Up to two dogs are welcome with the canal tow path 3 minutes away. To the rear is a small fenced yard with seating. This home is not suitable for parties.
