The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of 2026 temporarily drained for repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. Sorry, NO PETS or SMOKING.

This 1927 Southern Railroad Caboose X61 is located right in the heart of the Charming Historic Railroad town of Saluda, North Carolina overlooking the railroad tracks, once the steepest railroad grade in the United States until the trains stopped running through Saluda.
