The Jewell a Vintage 1964 A-frame

This place was so clean and quiet. I needed some self care time to destress and this was everything I needed. The A frame had just about everything you could need to feel at home. Plenty of activities in the basement for rainy days. I slept like a baby. Bonfire and patio area is nice, I even had a family of 6 or 7 deer join me for a bonfire. Took me only 3 minutes to walk around to the water (which you can see from the front). I was recommended a good pizza place-Highland House and it did not disappoint! Heidi was very quick to respond and was very thorough. I left feeling light, relaxed, and already looking to see when I can come back. Thank you Heidi & Darren!!

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Franco’s place. We spent a few days in Windsor, also visited Niagara Falls one of the days, and really loved being able to come back at the end of the day to relax around the pool. Definitely check out Cafe Amor & Art in Windsor. They had some really amazing chilequeles and flan. And we’re from chicago, so we know good Mexican food! We are jealous this place is so far away from us, so definitely go enjoy it when you can! We’ll definitely stay here again!

We were looking for something that felt like home while visiting family in Detroit with our newborn. Deborah’s home met our expectations and more during our holiday visit. We would most love to stay here again on our next visit.

Spacious Farmhouse with Breakfast - Ella's Place

This home was as described. It was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the breakfast and coffee on the first morning of our stay. We specifically appreciated the small coffee maker in addition to the Keurig style coffee maker. We were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from Oakland University. Our plans included overnight guests as well as additional friends for dinner after the ceremony. Ella communicated her expectations clearly and simply. Everything worked out perfectly. I specifically noticed that the home was stocked with plenty of dishes, paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper to accommodate the plans we had communicated to her. Check-in and check-out was simple. Her communication was prompt and attentive. I am glad that I booked this place and I would recommend it to my friends.

Hot Tub Kitch Lake Fireplaces Late Ck Out at GSL

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

Magnolia Suite

The Magnolia Suite was a perfect spot for us while we were sightseeing with two teenagers in Detroit! It was very comfortable with lots of space and perfectly located for us to get around to visit the museums, have a meal out, and go to Belle Isle.

Michelle’s place was a great home base for us. Lots of space for a family of four, and an easy drive to lots of restaurants, museums, and downtown. A charming historic home with an authentic feel.

Tyson was amazing from beginning to end. I was having a fancy dinner party and he set up an extra table and chairs to accommodate my party prior to my arrival which was very thoughtful. He was responsive, friendly and very well prepared. The home is stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need to have an amazing vacation. Including extras like coffee,water,wine etc that I have never been offered before in an air b&b. Kitchen has absolutely all the bells and whistles the chef really didn’t need to bring anything to prepare the meal. Will 100% be booking again next time I’m hosting friends in town. 😁

Great home, we felt right at home. We loved the area. The neighbors were extremely friendly and near some beautiful parks. The host answered us very quickly and was great help when looking for things to do. I would definitely stay here again.

Missy was a super host! Extremely responsive for anything we needed to communicate, and when out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The property was absolutely as described, up north feel in Southern Michigan. The deck and the lake were fabulous. Will stay here again the next time we are visiting family. This place was exactly as described. They need a bigger bed in the "master" bedroom. A double is not big enough for 2 average adults to sleep in, I'm 5'10" 190 lbs and the other person was 5'7" 170 and we couldn't move around without hitting each other.

This is my second time staying at this apartment and probably won't be the last! There was an issue with the shower when we first arrived, but Jesse was quick to respond and got it fixed for us as fast as he could. A very cosy little home away from home, I highly recommend to everyone who asks :)

We needed three bedrooms for our stay, and Ian offered two separate units: the Zen Suite (one bedroom) located above the Cook Suite (two bedrooms). Each suite has its own separate entrance, which was OK with us. Both suites were clean and comfortable, and I particularly liked the interior design. The Zen Suite also had a hot tub on the large patio, which was a highlight of our stay. Check-in was easy. There's a nice grocery store just across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

Sam’s place was a last minute find as our original reservation was cancelled after we had already in Detroit. Sam responded quickly and made sure that everything needed for check in was available. Seamless process and great communication. The house was very clean. Rooms were just as pictured. Only recommendation would be better pillows.

Elmtree Resort exceeded our expectations.Hosts were lovely and welcoming.Even allowed an earlier check in to accommodate our plans.The place was lovely and peaceful,spotlessly clean.The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable .Would stay only here if possible when in the area.

Elm Tree Retreat Double Room

Great location. Very close to the bridge/tunnel to USA. Catherine is a lovely host and the freshly prepared breakfast was the icing on the cake. We travelled with our golden retriever and the stay was perfect. We will definitely visit again.
