Enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Hudson from the large back porch as it sits atop a rocky cliff. It is a great place to take in the sunrise with a cup of coffee, relax with your favorite book, or just take in the wildlife. The three bedroom, two bathroom house is fully equipped for your comfort. Iron Horse Landing is a short walk down the hill. Ruby's Roost is a 480 square foot English style cottage built in 2025 and listed for 1 or 2 adults only. PLEASE NOTE: This home is not suitable for children. We have chosen furniture & art to make your trip comfortable and beautiful. Our cottage is minutes away from lakes, rivers, creeks, and is centrally located to annual festivals, including Rocklahoma & Born & Raised. Our small town includes many wonders. One is the Rural Oklahoma museum of Poetry. We’re just 30 miles from famous Route 66.

Off the beaten path, approximately 1 mile down a bumpy dirty road you will find a hidden gem. At the edge of the Ozarks in the heart of green country is a small cottage located on a beautiful one acre spring feed pond. You can see the spring gushing out of the hillside. Our cottage is small, cozy, and very relaxing. Whether you are kicking back watching the tube or paddling around the pond you will feel right at home and may not want to leave. Bigfoot Inn -cabin with loft -near Illinois River

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

A-Frame Cabin on the river

Modern, brand new a-frame cabin on the river. Overlooks the peaceful Illinois river. Watch the floaters go by from the comfort of your deck. The cabin is luxurious with all the modern amenities, hot tub professionally maintained, fast wifi and Roku TV. This is the perfect place to sneak away with a loved one for a long weekend on the river. By day you watch the constant stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks.

The Farmhouse on Clear Creek

An analogue place in a digital world. But it does have WiFi. Set on 250 acres that include Clear Creek, bluffs, pastures, and forest, the farmhouse offers seclusion and quiet for one or two people looking for a getaway. There are paths to wander, a deck to sit on overlooking a pasture, thousands of books to peruse, old maps, a turntable with some eclectic vinyl, and farmdogs who love new people. We live on site and can tell stories or let you be. We prefer some dialog before booking.

The Owl's Nest-hot tub in the woods

Make memories in the Owl's Nest, a magical, secluded tiny house tucked into the edge of the woods. The Owl's Nest is equipped with everything you need, from a furnished kitchen with fridge, burner, and microwave, to a large deck with a hot tub, firepit, and comfy chairs. Sip your morning coffee in forest serenity, while birds sing and squirrels play. Bring tick repellent from spring to fall. These are Ozark woods! Property not suitable for babies and small children.
