Artist's Retreat Guest House

The Artist's Retreat Guest House is a two-bedroom Craftsman bungalow in the Earlham College neighborhood that welcomes adults visiting our community of Richmond, Indiana. It features a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a library filled with art books, a garden, fine antiques, and works by regional and international artists. Sorry, but no children, pets, or smoking. We keep the house allergen-free and many of the art pieces are too fragile or heavy for the safety of children and animals.

Leader Loft

Conveniently located less than a mile from I-70 exit 14, on State Highway 503. This loft is perfect for any stay length for every occasion, and with the electronic door lock system it is perfect for a last minute stop as you’re traveling down the interstate. The Loft shares our building with Flour Bakery, coffee and gift shop, and is a minute's walk from a delicious bistro, antique shops, other gift shops, the library and hardware store. Come explore all that our quaint village has to offer!

The Patch: a cozy country home on a country farm

Conveniently located from I-70 at exit 10, The Patch is an old country home on a busy road in northern rural Preble County. Fully furnished, three-bedroom home. Main floor features a bedroom with a queen-size sleep number bed directly off an open office area, two more bedrooms located upstairs. Walk into the laundry area and kitchen. A large patio provides privacy and relaxation with a view of the farm. Perfect for work crews, stays, or just passing through. Ample parking for various vehicles.

Industrial & cozy 2 Bedroom atop a Historic Bldg.

Located on the 4th Floor of the Loft Highway Building in the heart of Richmond’s Historic Depot District. The Loft Highway houses such local businesses as Roscoe’s Coffee Bar & Tap Room, Lisa’s Cakes, Oblivion Cinema & Arts, Journey Yoga Studio, and The Art of Hair Salon and Metamorphosis Day Spa. Multiple other local restaurants and shops are just short walks away throughout the area. Each Guest receives 1 Free Drink from Roscoe’s (per night). Salon/Spa Booking info available upon request.

Second floor of an 1865 Tin shop, industrial building. High, open beam ceilings & exposed brick walls. Bathroom features a soaker tub plus a lux walk in shower. The kitchen features quartz counters, a large farmhouse sink, really nice appliances and thoughtful touches everywhere. The wifi is excellent. Have issues with stairs? This is not a good choice for you. If you're up for stairs and want a unique slice of history in a hip package then you will not be disappointed.

A country night under the stars!

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Join us for a peaceful country stay, close enough to drive to nearby shopping and dining, and far enough to hear the crickets and see the stars. Your cozy place will include a kitchenette, coffee pot, microwave & TV. The dining area inside or on the attached deck, full size bed & full bath with shower. Only 3.9 miles from Interstate 70. Should you choose to use 100-foot zipline to exercise your pet.

The Cottage Retreat

Whether you are looking for a place to spend some time or just passing through we think you’ll find it quite lovely here. We are just 5 mile off of I70 and centrally located among many places of interest. Go out or stay in. The outdoor living space is pretty spectacular! Private, with a hot tub, fire pit (wood provided), turf to play corn hole. Inside delivers all the comforts of home with full kitchen, laundry, workspace and cozy fireplace.

Cute 3BR 1-level MidCentury, near Earlham-IUE-Reid

This updated 3-bedroom Mid-Century home is pet-free, non-smoking and open to guests age 13 and older. It is 3 blocks north of Earlham College, 3.7 miles from Reid Hospital-IU East and 2.5 miles from the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Built in 1958, it sleeps up to 5. It has a gas fireplace, deep soaking tub, laundry facilities and one-level interior. Across the street are a wooded park with rentable shelters, playground and basketball court.
