The Writer's Cottage

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

Cozy Lakefront Cottage, located between Albany, the Berkshires & Columbia County, a perfect place for trips to quaint country towns, concerts, sports events, music venues, & great eateries. Hike, jog or bike the scenic Empire State Hudson Albany Rail Trail, just steps away. Kayak or fish; enjoy a BBQ and late night chats around the firepit, or enjoy a magnificent sunset from the three season room. If you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of resident Swan & Bald Eagles on the lake!

Lake House in Averill Park, NY (age 30+ excl kids)

Our lake house is on Glass Lake in Averill Park, NY. In case you want to venture off, it is close to Saratoga (race season!), the Berkshires MA, Albany NY, and Vermont. Incredibly private with spacious property. Our lake house is great for families with kids and couples, and handicap accessible. It is great for any season (leaves, skiing, fishing, swimming). Kayaks, row boat.....and the lake!! Age requirement of at least 30 years old for guests (except kids).

Crooked Lake Cabin

Enjoy some rest and relaxation at this cozy cabin on Crooked Lake, located in Averill Park, NY. Sit on 82 feet of private lake frontage while you enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets or wake up early and enjoy a morning full of fishing or kayaking. This cabin is located off a quiet and private road, but is close to all activities Averill Park has to offer. Going to the Crooked Lake House for a wedding, reunion, or party? This cottage is just across the Lake!
