🌳 Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Unwind or head out and feel the energy of the outdoors, you’re in for a lovely stay!

This beautiful cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests, however 2 to 4 is more comfortable with the space available. You have access to your private Jacuzzi and our heated outdoor swimming pool (April - October) There are many mountain-bike and hiking trails in the area and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB to try these out. In de omgeving vindt u diverse musea en restaurants. Mooie fiets- en wandel omgeving. Dichtbij Veldhoven, Eersel, Valkenswaard en Waalre. Dus dichtbij MMC Veldhoven, ASML en Koningshof. Gilze is located between the major cities of Tilburg and Breda and half an hour from Antwerp and Rotterdam. Amusement park "De Efteling" and Safari Park "De Beekse Bergen" are also very close by.

Close to the charming center of Breda, Etten-Leur or Prinsenbeek. The forest, named Liesbos, has been owned by the royal family. They also used this place for the hunt. The cozy villa is equipped with a great garden surrounded by century-old oak trees. The villa is warmly decorated with a classic and modern style.

Je kunt hier genieten van de rust en de ruimte van het Brabantse platteland, op een klein stukje afstand van Den Bosch. Het huis ligt achter ons eigen huis maar geeft volledige privacy en heeft uitzicht over de kleine weide met kippen.
