Amenities include power bkp, fridge, TV, washing machine, WiFi, baby cot & a full kitchen. Located near Gyuto Monastery (5 min), Norbulingka (10 min) & HPCA Stadium (15 min). Cafés, salons & shops are close by. We offer freshly cooked home-style meals from a menu at reasonable prices. Our on-site caretaker cooks, serves & manages the home.

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Built in approximately 1940, it’s ideal and idyllic for couples and solo travellers. The space, created with a lot of love and thought, is made more special with its lawn against the backdrop of the mighty Dhauladhars. Ideal to practise yoga, meditation or just enjoy a hot beverage whilst bird spotting and certainly to fire up the bbq grill. The name is nostalgic to the Dak Bangla under British India, meant for travellers and postmen.
